Last year I was contacted by someone at Land of Nod to design some bedding for boys using my Sea Life series. It's finally here!

I can't believe it! My hope is that this is the first partnership of many like this. I am so thrilled to see my work applied in this way - I hope you like it too!

ART VS CRAFT NOV. 24

I took a breather from work to settle in to the new house. Turns out it will take years to settle in! So I am slowly getting back to business, and am looking forward to my new space and all of the new possibilities.

In case you missed the news, we are moving! We are leaving Milwaukee behind and settling ourselves in a small town just north of here.
Life will be different.
Instead of drunk college students passed out in our front yard, we will have trees and a creek and a barn. Our neighbors will be wild turkey, bears, foxes, deer.

I'm going to take some time to nest and set up a new studio and write up a new business plan. I'll be posting here periodically with progress and some snaps of the new place. I hope you will check back in from time to time as I begin this new chapter. I am so excited to begin again, and the plans for what lies ahead are BIG and BEAUTIFUL and what dreams are made of. 

If I can take away one thing from the journey thus far, it is this - waiting around for life to happen will mean a life of waiting. I know that I want to spend my time doing instead of thinking about doing. 

I will still be accepting orders and shipping during this time...

test shoot

This weekend we shot my niece's senior photos, and we ended up turning it into a super fun test shoot. My sister Jodi Hudson art directed and helped with styling, my niece Abby was our model, and I did the photography. I have not done any editing on these photos. 

We had a great time, even though we all got up at 5:30 in the morning. 

This week I am working on my new wholesale catalog and shipping out orders. Did you know I have brand new tea towels available? They are limited in quantity - I think I only have 20 sets left!

Renegade LA

Here we are at the end of July, and I am only days away from Renegade LA.

I realized that I haven't mentioned here that I am participating in Renegade for the first time, this weekend, in Los Angeles. It's a two day event, so I am stocking up as much as I can carry and heading across the country.

I will have all new everything - new pillows, cards, calendars, tea towels, even my SIGNS are new.

You guys, I'm totally ready for this thing. (Or, as ready as I think I should be?)
